Bestevaer 53 Aegle
The hull design and sail plan are made by Dykstra Naval Architects. The interior design and installation, the owner did himself, being an architect. In 2008 de Zeerover was christened.
The new owners renamed the yacht Aegle and they made many trips to Northern areas such as the Lofoten and Nordkap in Norway, Finland and Sweden. In 2016 they sailed to Iceland and Greenland.
Aegle has been continually maintained and successively upgraded by KM Yachtbuilders to the highest possible standard. She presents as almost new and is probably the best ever example of the Bestevaer 53.
